Hi all, new to the group and c&c. Not sure how to hide spoilers, but every good boy deserves favors. However, the letters I get don't mean anything.

Below is an unambiguous discussion of my search for the puzzle solution and request for suggestions: It appears that the wires and crows represent sheet music. I googled the notes and found an answer that the vault finds correct. I haven't opened all locks to the vault and still not quite sure what I'm doing. If there is a second layer, I'm not aware of it yet.

Without being too spoilery here, as you move through the vault, if there is a second layer, you will be directed that way later.

Yes, I had identified the arrangement of the crows as musical notes but since I have absolutely NO musical background I have been stuck on this puzzle. How does one Google musical notes?

Thanks for the help Todd. I was able to figure this out soon after my post. I'm new to C&C and trying to catch up. Some of these puzzles are maddening but I still enjoy the brain exercise.

Well said! 🤔Seems to be working for me so far. DAMN, looks like I have work to do here! C&C Chapter 4 just arrived in my mailbox. Now I have to resist the temptation to open this while I continue with Chapter 1 😳. Must admit that I have peaked at Chapters 2 and 3.😔

I've subscribed for a little while to Curios and Conundrums, but like everything else in my life I find myself to be terribly "behind" and in need of "catching up." As I look at this puzzle, my very first instinct, when I first got it, and now as I go back through it more carefully, was Counting Crows! A Murder of One! I know this likely has nothing to do with it, and I did get the actual puzzle solution, but I just thought it was funny.

Does the direction that each crow is facing make a difference?

Does the direction that each crow is facing make a difference? Nope. If you need another hint or some more help with this one, just send me a PM.

Happy to help with this one too. This one requires a little bit of thinking outside of the box. Do the wires and the crows look like a kind of notation?
