I think I went the long way around getting to this. Googling opera singers, I found that they have a diet to keep their voice healthy. Specifically those who sing in the C, A, B, vocal range Cabbage juice seems to be a part of the diet. Also, this vocal range seems to be common for woman.

One thing that continuts to really bother me.about Kick is the title Kick. Every other puzzle, the puzzle title is related to the puzzle itself or how to solve the puzzle. Just not seeing what "kick" has to do with anything here... yet.

Well apparently there is a game called kick-the-(answer word), which sounds fascinating and involves knocking off pepole's hats with umbrellas or children's spades. It has an alternative name that begins with a c, too.

Just not seeing what "kick" has to do with anything here... yet. FWIW, the cat comics made their debut in Volume 2 and have been titled "Kick" from the beginning. This is the first time the comic has featured a puzzle, though.

So, I have been going through some notes in anticipation for the next issue and noticed that i had something written down that I didn't see here and it may be worth while or just an interesting fact. In the comic there is a cat like silhouette on the telephone pole. Given the musical solution, and the reference to murder from a cat's point of view it is worth pointing out that polecat weed or skunk cabbage is highly toxic to cats. This toxicity can lead to the swelling of the feline brain which arguably connects to the horoscope solution.

Are we sure that it's actually a cat on the telephone pole? My first thought was that it looks like a devil-like creature...
Just a thought.
