In searching for something else, I came across a set of images that I felt really ought to be relevant to this. More specifically a "birds on a wire" code but I can't seem to make heads or tails of it all either from my point of view or what I presume to be the cat's point of view Just curious if anyone else ran across this and was able to make some sense of it, or if I'm just meowing up the wrong pole here. I have been trying to make heads or tails with this one for a few weeks now... I was having problems with identifying the birds correctly so I tabled the idea for now... I'm glad to see someone else was looking at this tho!

Yeah, that's where I am on that idea for the moment, but the birdies have made it pretty clear to me that There is some secret beyond the obvious one.... but what it is, I have yet to determine... I had such hopes for that idea being a decent lead, but it's back to the drawing board for now.

Personally, I think that this is A comic strip on the surface, and the music puzzle is the hidden meaning.

Personally, I think that this is A comic strip on the surface, and the music puzzle is the hidden meaning. Well, as a comic it doesnt seem to be very coherent but maybe I am missing something. And with the arrival of today's email, I continue to think there just might be something still to be discovered by considering the cat's point of view. other than a weak pun. even if that pun does start with our favorite letter

How old was McCabe? In his last message, the Curator mentioned music and South America, and the Mayans are from that area. If you look at their counting system... In which case, the symbols for kick could be a number. And it makes the symbol looks a bit like a metronome.

I found a poem; in that poem, 7 crows are a secret, 9 is for a kiss
seven crows is also a book, based on a Vampire hunter!

seven crows is also a book, based on a Vampire hunter! In the version I know, it's "seven for a secret never to be told." If you want a fun little musical side trip as well, while you are counting crows, ask yourself how many make a murder... In a weird bout of coincidence, I had a completely unrelated reason to be looking up that rhyme right before my CC came.

I believe two crows is attempted murder, so three crows at least to make a murder of crows!

It's hard to explain, because it's combining two different things. my mother used to work a telephone switch board on an Air force base. In a regular switch board the birds would be on a party line. In the military, they would be in a Conference Call.

At first I thought that they were bird's on a wire. If they touched, they would commit murder. But I think it's more like a chorus with a conductor.

A seven-circuit. Unless the vegetable is a vegetable. In which case it would be carbon ("3 keys on a ring"). It would look like the berries in the alchemy article. In that way, it connects to Columbia House, and Hildegard von Bingen.[/spoiler]
