Based on these notes, there would never have been a Library Fines podcast.

"So I thanked her, my lady, and lay down and slept soundly, forgetting all that had happened to me." is from 1001N, the Second Kalandar's Tale. Alice's journal also mentions a "crazy side-quest w a Jinni/Ifrit's prisoner lady". This story seems relevant.
Regarding Yacoub Artin Pasha: Burton acknowledges him on page xxi of 1001N.

Page Two Notes:
FIRST EPISODE CONTD...
Library Fines
-not very good, boring place and story -someone has high library fines but there is nothing interesting about them -multiple editions of old books the library would forgive the fine but they were never returned *Connection to missing person?? NO
Alice
might not be her, might not be real Humanities major
TA says she missed classes but everyone misses classes
Roommates said she was quiet and boring boring boring not anything roommates said she was probably not missing. Police report said that this is not a good story mid-March and they did not think she was missing she was fine
-this whole story sounds like a bad story
there are better stories
Call with Campus Security
They said they are fine an she is fine and everybody is fine. They said this would not make a good story episode podcast
-Apartment scheduled for clean-out SEPT2 so not much time to do story

Page 3 notes:
* Ep 1 you left in bad takes! Cut them out and repost.
-All her possessions will be thrown away on Sept 1 and that is good I like that
Call w RA
-Room 313- he says they don’t have a 313 room 313 I should give up because there was never a 313 *Post Fiver?
Call with “Tell” -She says she can do the job -Half payment up front half on delivery (so classic)
MIDNIGHT AUG 31 -Tell says there was nothing useful in the room she says that it was fine -This is good because it seems Alice was fine and not missing and probably just got there but not missing and fine - This means the mystery is solved and everybody is fine - I feel full of joy about this whole thing. I am done with this story now. I investigated and it turns out nothing was wrong. It was my mistake. But I did everything right and checked and everything was ok. After all and there was no mystery because RA and Tell and roommates all said that everybody was fine and there was no problem and now I don’t need to do the story episode podcast because there is no story episode

I am feeling great and relaxed and full of joy and thinking about this which is not a mystery not a case not a story gives me a headache and when something gives me a headache gives me a headache gives me a headache I should stop doing it because then I stop having a headache and I am just full of joy full of joy full of joy full of joy I should do something else I should go somewhere else In conclusion I must not forget to notice that the Arabic ornamentation of these volumes were designed by my excellent friend Yacoub Artin Pasha.
So I thanked her, my lady, and lay down and slept soundly, forgetting all that had happened to me.
So I thanked her, my lady, and lay down and slept soundly, forgetting all that had happened to me.
So I thanked her, my lady, and lay down and slept soundly, forgetting all that had happened to me.
Slept soundly. Forgetting. Slept soundly. Forgetting. Slept soundly. Forgetting. Slept soundly. Forgetting. Slept soundly. Forgetting. Slept soundly. Forgetting. Slept soundly. Forgetting.

"In conclusion I must not forget to notice that the Arabic ornamentation of these volumes were designed by my excellent friend Yacoub Artin Pasha."
is a line from Burton's introduction to his translation of The Thousand Nights.
