There are a few things we know based on the communication we have received from Alice, and what we know from the Boring Crimes podcast. Let's compile that here. We received emails from Alice on February 28, March 5th, 12th, and 19th. She grew concerned that time was passing differently inside and outside of the Library. From the Missing Persons report shared on Instagram, we know Alice was last seen around March 4th or 6th. The report was filed in 12 Division of Toronto (the address and URL at the top of the page, half cut off, confirm this). This gives us an approximate date and general location of where Alice was last seen. (Here's a cool overlay of the Toronto police divisions layered on Google Maps: www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?msa=0&dg=feature&mid=1fupv6OGyH7gQ5FM21AI2D0q2g-c&ll=43.68346692014993%2C-79.4448631187909&z=13)From Episode 1 of the Boring Crimes podcast, Alice's last name might begin with T. (approx 9:17. It might be my ears tricking me, but it sounds like he says "The Disappearance of Alice T...") Also from Episode 1 of the podcast, Alice was a Humanities major living on off-campus dorm housing. I couldn't find any obvious off-campus dorm housing in 12 Division. Alice's Victorian Literature TA was named Sharon Pali... (9:47) He then seems to refer to the TA as "Banerjee" in the next sentence. We don't know either of the flatmates' names, but one of them identified Khadijah and Tyler as Alice's Zoom classmates in the social media post shared to Instagram. The fomat looks like it was a Facebook post, but that's conjecture. Any contributions, corrections, or theories?

Except for the February date, all of her communications fall on Thursdays. Hmmmm... I know we used to get Podcasts on Thursday but wondered if Alice communicated on those days as part of her predicament.

She also disappeared between March 4th and 6th. March 5th is a Thursday.

My research shows that while there are no colleges located in Precinct 12, there are a few colleges located in precincts adjacent to Precinct 12. We know that Alice lived in off campus "dorm" housing. It is possible that she just lived in off campus housing...an apartment or "flat" shared with other students.
Of the nearby colleges/universities only York University offers a degree in humanities.
We also know from the podcast that Alice was Humanities Major.
So I surmise that Alice was a student at York University.

The other thing that is making me a little puzzled is the notice on the door. It says accordance with comapny policy...so the word company is spelled wrong...but company is the wrong word altogether...it should in accordance with "university" policy shouldn't it?

I pondered that a bit, overlooked the misspelling, but considered privately owned housing targeted to students. While 12 Division is the wrong side of the 401 to be "convenient" for a York student, it's not out of the question. Do we think Alice travels back and forth between the Library and the mundane, or do we think she's been in there ever since she fell asleep reading The Thousand and One Nights?

Either way she has internet access because she’s in the forum again.

Well if not York University...then just like Hogwart's we muggles can't see it and do not know of its existence.

And an email from Alice on a Friday breaks the pattern.

The only thing I'm finding by searching for the #Aliceismissing hashtag is a cool-looking RPG: www.huntersentertainment.com/alice-is-missingWhile this looks to be completely unrelated to the Alice of The Boundless Library, it does look like an interesting game.

The latest Instagram post says Alice has been missing since at least the 15th. Since the police report was filed the 13th of March, does this back-date her disappearance to February 15th or earlier? http://instagram.com/p/CEmMdA5g-1f

I noted the date inconsistency also. The post says that Alice has been missing “since at least the 15”. However, the police took the report from the roommates on Friday, the 13th of March. In that report, the police state that the roommates had not seen her since the the 3rd or 6th of March. Apparently even those outside the library are having trouble getting their timeline straight.
