If you do that and maintain the 5x5 grid you should see something funny.

I got the image, but I'm not sure where people have found the secret code to the perplexle puzzle. Just a nudge in the right direction please.

Gah, this one drove me nuts. So, I still can't figure out how to make the full picture, but for those of you still stuck, I promise you that there's a 3x3 at the bottom that makes sense Also, I still have no idea how one gets from the meaning of the overlay to the meaning of the picture. Seriously. Unless they want to poison creepy carnival monsters. That' I'm down for.

Just questioning our puzzle overlords' plan for us all, and reassuring fellow wanderers that 3x3 can be just as good as 5x5 Thanks though.

Can anyone help me confirm if I have the right matches for two of the squares? I think I have it right, but, I want to make sure before I get home and take the next step in solving the puzzle.
If going across the top left to right is 1-5, then I am looking for #s 13 and 18.

Never mind, forum peeps. My edumacated guesses seem to give me a fun clue once I applied the pattern described elsewhere. Seems correct now.

I just started with Curios and Conundrums, so I am playing catchup. I've got most of the puzzles solved except for this one and horoscopes. I have followed all the advice provided on this thread (thank you all), but I am still lost. Help?
