Related or not, I did find that interesting. Very interesting. Unfortunately I do not have the skills to take it further. But then again, maybe I should listen again, in case I missed something...........
I Apologize for all grammatical and spelling errors as well as missing words and words that make no sense in the provided context. My IPad hates me.
Also, they are again saying that there is more than one way to enter the library... While this is presumably in reference to the University library, it makes me wonder if this particular librarian knows more than they are letting on.
I was re-reading the welcome page on theboundlesslibrary.com and was reminded that we have a short recap of Alice's disappearance in her own words:
I was visiting the new library at... you know, I'm not sure which library. I'm sure you know the one I mean. I'd been sitting quietly in a patch of sunlight reading for a while, when something really odd happened to me. The book I was reading from was The Thousand and One Nights, which I’ve loved for as long as I could remember, an edition in English that I’d not come across before and was enjoying the opening frame.
That's when the strangeness began. I was so engrossed in the story that a change in light startled me. I sat up quickly, realizing that I must have been asleep on the desk. Embarrassed, I looked around to see if anyone had noticed. How long had I slept? Did I snore? Was there drool? But no one was around.
Something had changed—the space seemed more close, more dusty, more echoey. I tapped my watch to check the time, and the display simply read: YES, which was terribly disconcerting.
The consistency with the Thousand and One Nights, and the watch that doesn't work properly, keeps me mulling all the story threads revealed thus far. However, there is peril in puling at threads, as the whole think might just unravel.
For a period this afternoon, I amused myself trying to see if I could figure out what edition Alice was reading that she had not seen before.
diggitydoodog: I've had dubious documents for 2 years now and finally went to work on it. Would anyone on here be willing to PM me the answer or post it in a spoiler so I can check the solution?
