 It appears that most (if not all) puzzles in this issue contain puzzles within them. Solve the puzzle on the surface first, then look deeper. Questions on either level should be discussed here. |

After finishing the word search, did anyone else notice that there are 4 letters that intersect two words and they anagram to the word, 'cure' -- thoughts? |

After finishing the word search, did anyone else notice that there are 4 letters that intersect two words and they anagram to the word, 'cure' -- thoughts? Hadn't caught that yet, but it's super interesting when you consider the theme of the word search and the hidden message revealed using the Patently Ridiculous key.

Hi all, I'm brand new to C&C and only just able to start on it this weekend. I grew up on Games Magazine, and in their word searches, the letters left behind are just as important as the ones you circle and make a quote or other message related to the puzzle. Only minimal luck perusing that angle so far, but it did toss up one interesting thing: a deciphered word does kick up in the first few leftover letters... not sure if that is a coincidence (I'd think that unlikely), a or a reason to keep prodding at it. |

I'll simply say now that it was not, in fact, a coincidence. I took it in a very fun but apparently fruitless direction for a while, but all was made clear in time. |

In the case of the wordsearch I've found all the words listed. However, I know that isn't really "the puzzle" and have no idea what to do to proceed. I don't want to cheat, as I'd like to learn how to solve them on my own so I can contribute in some meaningful way to the community in the future, but I'm at a total loss. Even the hints in the spoilers here make no sense to me! I'm feeling very dense and defeated.  |
