This month’s box is called Sleight of Hand. It came with a full magician’s deck of cards. It also has a plastic magician’s wand. There is a small card that provides the puzzle associated with the deck of cards. There is a letter from the widow of a dead magician. And a small poster for Professor Conundrum. There are 4 envelopes that you will be directed to open as you work your way thru the box. This is my second box. I think you (memosinstilletos) would find the puzzles adequate because I find them rather hard. .

I didn't love the "Sleight of Hand" but I liked it, let's put it this way. A LOT of gameplay and a full deck of cards are cool yes. Some puzzles were great, some weren't.
What I didn't enjoy is the narrative, it was kind of sloppy, with A LOT of reading, and puzzles weren't really walking us through the story, we were just unlocking a bunch of doors, not understanding what's up. The "who killed him after all" was all answered in the last annoyingly long text. I could easily just solve a bunch of unconnected puzzles and get the same feeling.
BUT if you like puzzles over the storyline, get it, I think the money/gameplay balance is great.
