Now unboxed. After years of trying to pry the damn lids off these crates I now find it nothing but annoying. This is the second lid in a row I've cracked. Guts look interesting at first glance.

A bit stuck and hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Already finished Got the username and password to log into hmemlib.org and found the Masonic Order cipher and working on used the cipher on the notebook and got the message "Truth in hert". I feel either missing letters at the end of no idea what to look at next. Was thinking it might be related to the haunted locations article in the library. edit just solved it, that makes me sad

Things will not be the same ever again if you follow the lead the message gives you (I'm being intentionally cryptic here).

Was watching TV and someone said the word and I immediately faced palmed, found the symbol I missed and then my face dropped when I realized the horrible implications.
I'm assuming this is the end? From a puzzle point of it it feels complete, but the note gives me a bit of doubt that there might be more hidden somewhere

Not to be THAT guy but uh... (Sound of Insanity reference in spoiler) did MPC steal my twist? Kidding, of course.

Not easily without spoiling it; also a little tough for me to know if you’re far enough along to apply this clue. Feel free to PM me and I can help more directly.

This is the first box I have bought from MPC. I have a few from HAK. The book is awesome. But I was a little disappointed with the complete experience (for $99 that is). But now I see I am not finished. Did not dig deep enough for a hidden cipher. And it sounds like there is a good payoff. sometimes ciphers don't give a good reward for the time it takes. Will go back this weekend and try to finish. I plan on burying this box in my yard and then make my wife think I dug it up when working in the garden. Should be fun around Halloween.

Having done much of HaK's offerings (including dabbling in each of their spin-off products and owning all of their premium items), the cipher solve here is significantly more satisfying than most of HaK's ciphers, which are often super tedious and lengthy with minimal payoff; this is short by comparison and adds a large amount to the experience. I would however agree with you that this box is a tiny bit wanting for the price, though the main artifact is pretty great and interactive. Most of what's in the box is there for show/atmosphere as opposed to being directly related to puzzles, which is sometimes the case with HaK stuff as well. Love the idea of literally burying The Buried Puppet!
