I'm looking forward to digging in and seeing what I see. I am especially looking forward to the Poe-inspired mysteries, but am intrigued by the current month's box as well.
We have some excellent sleuths amongst us. We shall see what comes.

I signed up for the free experience as they don't post to England ( major bummer ) but haven't heard back from them yet . It's been 8 days now :-(

DrRook, I wouldn't mind having your subscription sent here and then I send it to you in the UK -- but that has the potential to be very expensive. If it's of interest to you, I'll let you know roughly what it would cost to send a box to the UK when my box gets here on Monday. I live near DC, post to the UK is usually less than a week, even for packages.

If they typically weigh what this one does and fit in an envelope, you'd be looking at $15-$25 to ship, depending on the exact weight. I'd need to do a little bit of repackaging to make sure it's less than 3/4" thick and doesn't vary by 1/4" because not everything is paper. I've sent large envelopes to Europe before and my local post office will accept it if it looks like I made a good faith effort and it isn't off by much. So it would be $50-$60 a month, maybe more if something actually has to go in a box. If you paid me with PayPal, I think there's a break on shipping if I use them to print the mailing label and postage. That seems a bit steep, but I don't know what it usually costs to send mysterious things to the UK  |
