I'm pretty sure that the monthly by mail subscription right now is Arcanum. A different monthly subscription, Nevermore, will start later this year. It's not clear if it's in addition to Arcanum, or if Arcanum is a limited number of monthly mailings.
I'm a bit concerned that I've received neither the welcome email for Arcanum Online, nor a shipping confirmation for the monthly box, but not yet concerned enough to contact them.

That doesn't seem right, Todd. Arcanum doesn't seem like it lends itself to being standalone, their monthly experiences are supposed to be standalones -- escape room in a box and all that. I was under the impression the monthly was Nevermore, but even if it isn't, I can't see how Arcanum can be a series of standalone stories.

I base my theory on the fact that arcanumonline refers you to the Mystery Experiences Cratejoy page to sign up for the premium subscription, and there is only one subscription available.
Time will tell, as packages should be shipping soon.

OK, so now the FB page clarifies that the March Mystery is The Raven. That seems to suggest that the Archon Genomics mystery really is one-off, even tho it seems like it's a bigger story than that. But the only reason we think the story is bigger than that is because of the book and the previous ARG they ran. I think I've officially given up trying to figure this out and will just let myself be surprised when boxes get here  |

A few of us bought in time for the February box, and I'm sure once received we'll give our opinions. If our opinions might sway you, then by all means hold out another week or so. If you feel that you're the type that simply needs to see for herself, then I am wasting by breath. |
