I'm enjoying the world-building and feel that Jasper Fforde's "bookworld" is almost certainly another valve.
Who is the new orangutan librarian? There has been speculation that the librarians are all fictional character. If that is the case, Poe's is the first one that came to mind. Naturally, the author precognition angle could mean that the new librarian in the Boundless Library is Pratchett's own, but then it becomes a sort of bootstrap paradox.
Or could the librarians something else entirely?
It's anyone else looking to see what happens next in Alf Layla Wa-Layla? There's a tale for another night.

I enjoyed this episode significantly more than the first one; I found the tone more consistent and the reading of part of the frame of One Thousand and One Nights excellent. There was also much more world-building and intrigue. Honestly, this should have been the premiere episode.
Also, One Thousand and One Nights is one of my favorite works, so this should be fun; I hope there's a discussion of different translations at one point, in particular of Richard Burton's very fun but truly wacky attempt.

Must be a clear nod to Terry Pratchett Discworld books.

Just a note....at the end of the broadcast it did say that card holder kits will only be available through the end of November.
