I would assume it would have to do with the numbers below the crossword And the letters at the top of the page and down the spine

i'm having a similar issue. ive decoded the spine lettering, and understand the microtext on the top. Someone let me in on the knowledge that those two pieces on info help solve the number puzzle. but which mistake are they talking about?
the only mistake i can recall is the one in the x grid, where there is an x instead of a u.

Sometimes clues come in subsequent issues. Check back after you find the hidden message in Volume 2 Issue 4's word search.

I was wondering if I could get a nudge on this puzzle. I have found the messages in the margin and along the top as well as the message from the word search in issue 4. Unfortunately I'm still stumped. I've tried some Caesar cyphers, vigeneres, as well as the coding sequence from the bridge letter (though frankly I may have bungled one or more of those),
but I'm still coming up short. I fear that I've missed some important element, or am just looking right past the answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are three elements to this puzzle. The first is recognizing that all of the numbers in the grid are between 1 and 26 The second is the Caesarian shift cipher which I suggest doing next. Remembering that decoding is encoding in reverse. This should leave you with a grid of letters with the occasional recognisable word, especially near the center. The problem is, there is a lot of noise. That's where the Crossword puzzle grid comes into play.

Thanks, I will give that a shot! I think I was looking in the right direction but didn't quite follow it through.

Question: is the overlay hinted at in v.2 c.4 word search literally supposed to be laid over the number grid? Or...am I missing something? I feel like I'm so close, yet so far away... Any nudges would help

Hi again! If anyone could help me a little with this puzzle, I'd appreciate it! I've worked through the Cesar shift
and, as noted above, have found some obvious words.
But...I'm a bit confused about where to go from here. I'm not entirely sure what to do with the false crossword clues
If anyone could help me out, I'd be grateful. Thank you'

Could someone give me a nudge here. Not sure what to make of the Top letters. And not sure how the 2.4 crossword works regarding any of this.
