Greetings,
Whilst investigating current matters, we felt necessary to conduct a follow-up survey. This one, a bit shorter.
On behalf of The Explorers of Esoterica, I can say with confidence that 'we value your thoughts and opinions'.
So, without further ado,
A few more questions.
(1): When partaking in a mystery, does the inclusion/exclusion of an artifact make or break said mystery? Would you be disappointed without one?
(2): When looking at the average mystery experience, what is the highest price you will tolerate before scoffing. What pricing model do you prefer?
(3): Do 'Kickstarter' like launches for mystery experiences lower your chances of partaking in said experience?
Thank you for your time,
For more information, look closer.

An artifact is not necessary for me and I’m generally willing to pay up to $100 without giving it serious consideration. Above that price point, I have to think about it a lot and there needs to be a very compelling reason to purchase.
Kickstarter isn’t my favorite format, but I wouldn’t rule out purchase through that avenue.

An artifact is not necessary for me. I'm looking for a good ARG experience similar to C&C. I would be willing to pay about $40 a month (if shipping did not exceed an additional $5) for something similar. Kickstarter is also not my favorite, but I if the product looks extremely promising, I would do it.

(1): An artifact is only necessary for and appreciated by me if it directly ties in to the story, answers a question and/or solves a puzzle.
(2): I would have said $300 before. Then I purchased Wilson Wolfe. So I guess $400 now would make me scoff. Maybe five. I don't really know if there's a scoffing limit actually. The anticipation of fun isn't the best for my pocketbook.
(3): Kickstarter not as much as Indigogo... If there is a chance I cannot get refunded should plans fall through, partnerships evaporate, etc, the chances of my purchasing decease dramatically. Like any business transaction, honest communication is key, and while there's a saying about best laid plans... You lay out a solid plan for an experience that sounds awesome and follow up every week or so on it? I'm all the way in.
