A community mailbox is like an apartment mail delivery where you need to go to the lobby and open your specific box to get your mail. Except it's on the street and everyone is in houses.

Oh, I've heard about those (though not by that name). That would stink to have to go outside to get your mail, but considering how the post office is losing money, it's probably the fate that awaits us all. That, and going to the post office to stand in line for our packages that wouldn't fit in the community box!

That's the part that stinks. But when it DOES fit, it's kind of fun. You open your box to find another key! It's like a little baby two step puzzle. (Make your own happiness haha)

Words cannot adequately convey my despair at missing the chance to order one of these. I am in total agreement. Save

You will have another chance for the next kit in August or September.

I got the inner circle kit and after reading the telegram can't help but thinking there's something hidden in the message. It seems rather odd that the Curator appears to have sent it on Leap Day 76 years ago. And he's celebrating Hattie McDaniel, the actress from gone with the wind. The telegram was marked at 4 pm. Wondering if there is a cypher somewhere. Will keep looking. That being said, the bits and box are top notch. Very much worth it. I thought that exact same thing!

My tracking code claims this will be delivered to me tomorrow, or at least they will try... it won't fit in my mailbox so I will have to go pick it up from the post office later this week.
The above is a lie... I just got my package tonight!

The status on mine is still "Pre-shipment info sent, USPS awaiting item" on the USPS website...😡

I finally received my Collector's Kit today, and I can say without reservation that it was worth the wait! I received all three coins, and my wife was actually the one to first notice the keyhole on the membership card and the coin, but as was previously mentioned, I don't see that it reveals anything on either side. The telegram is fascinating, as well. The lapel pin is fantastic, and box itself is great, definitely a display piece!

You certainly had to wait long enough!

My guess is that would be a reference to the membership password as found in the handbook. The keyhole behind the lantern was also an element of last year's Inner Circle membership card, but as it was before the redesign of the logo, it wasn't clearly an element of the lantern. Yes, we with the Member's Handbook should know what lies behind the lantern's light. Historically, the membership kits have not been a source of puzzles. But the telegram in the Madness kit makes me wonder if the question isn't where the Curator is hiding, but when? This is ages late, but after reading this message, I ordered the Members' Handbook, expecting there to be some sort of use for the membership card inside. I got it a couple weeks ago, and there wasn't. One of the problems with things like this is that I start reading hidden meaning into everything around me. The handbook is interesting. It's smaller, but better bound than I'd expected. Also, if I'd had this before Volume 3, Issue 3 of C&C, I'd be even more upset that "Secret Handshakers" wasn't right.
