I received an email a few days ago asking me to pick a seat for the performance of King in Yellow. There was only one seat available and so I chose that.

I received an email a few days ago asking me to pick a seat for the performance of King in Yellow. There was only one seat available and so I chose that. Actually, now I’m curious if they’re legitimately filling up seats or if they’re all the same seat. My seat was 21B.

Interesting... I haven't received anything from the Concierge. In fact, I haven't received anything since.... let me check.... July, when they sent out the survey.

I believe my seat was also 21B.

They were all the same seat.
I confirmed my details within minutes of getting the email, and all but one of the seats was filled. I thought that was rather amusing, and felt a bit like Penn and Teller were doing a card push on me.

Hmm... got mine in the mail today. I didn't think this was a multi-mailing experience. Spent some time looking online. I'm not sure that everything is in place at this point.

You'd think living in the same province would help, but nope... According to FedEx tracking it's still in the GTA. I'm as giddy as a child on Christmas morning!

That's odd as I'm in the same province too.
I was giddy knowing it was on the way, but having gotten it, it feels more like the first mailing of the Century Beast. I'm not sure why they sent it by FedEx.

Professor, the Kickstarter FAQ states that there will be two mailings. Monday for me, too. There has always been the question of exactly what the various "tickets" are about, and what they mean by a "performance" since there is no real performance according to the FAQ on Kickstarter. None of this is clear. We assume there will be aged paper items and an artifact in a crate, and some type of puzzle component based on the graphics on the page of the Kickstarter campaign. Beyond that, who knows? Well, the Professor knows something ...

Well, what I did receive was a performance ticket and a letter. The performance was "over" by the time I got the ticket. However, a url lets you lodge a complaint about delivery.

Not going to lie, I kind of love this. Considering that we know next to nothing about the experience, and that one of the shipments is going to be very large, a little bit of trolling, especially in regards to subverting our expectations of how multiple mailings are supposed to work, is pretty clever.
